Connect Canva

Connecting links your own Canva account for this server, so the designs you can see unfurl for the team and Team Toolbox can notify you about your designs. Anyone who wants this runs the connect flow once. Run /canva connect and follow the secure authorization link to Canva's consent page; if you're already connected, the command shows a Logout button instead. You can also connect or disconnect from the User Settings dashboard.

Your password stays yours

Team Toolbox uses OAuth, so it never sees your Canva password. If previews stop showing, confirm the design is shared with you or viewable by anyone with the link, then run /canva logout and /canva connect to reconnect.

Design Previews

Once Canva is connected, previews are automatic and there's nothing to run day to day. Paste a Canva design link into a channel and Team Toolbox unfurls it into a full-size preview so everyone can see the design at a glance. Edit your message and the preview updates; delete it and the preview goes with it.

Brand-Kit Palettes

Paste a brand-kit link and Team Toolbox shows the palette inline, each color with its hex code ready to copy, so the team can grab exact colors without digging through Canva. No command needed.

Collaboration Notifications

Once your account is connected, Team Toolbox DMs you about activity on the Canva designs you're part of, right in Discord.

  • Access requests: when someone asks for access to a design.
  • Approval requests: when a design is sent your way for review.
  • Approval responses: when a reviewer approves or requests changes.
  • Mentions: when someone @-mentions you in a Canva design.
