These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Team Toolbox Discord application and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Team Toolbox ("we," "us," or "our").

By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance and Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service. Prohibited behavior includes:

• Harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user
• Transmitting obscene, offensive, or illegal content through the Service
• Disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within Discord servers
• Attempting to circumvent security measures or access unauthorized features
• Using the Service to spam, phish, or engage in other malicious activities
• Violating Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Misusing Safe Spaces or other privacy features for harmful purposes

2. Service Features and Functionality

2.1 Core Features

Team Toolbox provides the following core features:

• AI Chat Summaries: Automated analysis and summarization of Discord conversations
• Smart Reminders: Context-aware reminder system for Discord messages
• Keyword Notifications: Automated alerts for specified keywords and phrases
• Safe Spaces: Anonymous, private thread system for sensitive conversations

2.2 Third-Party Integrations

The Service may allow you to connect with third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Google Workspace: Calendar events, Drive files, Groups management, and Directory services
• Notion: Page synchronization, database access, and webhook automation
• AI Services: OpenAI and other AI providers for content analysis and summarization

Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the data, content, or practices of third-party services.

By authorizing us to access your third-party accounts, you grant us permission to access and use your information from that service as permitted by that service, and to store your authentication credentials for that service.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Discord account and any connected third-party accounts
• All activities that occur under your account
• Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Keeping your authentication credentials secure

3.2 Content and Conduct

When using the Service, you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respect other users' privacy and anonymity, especially in Safe Spaces
• Use AI features responsibly and not attempt to manipulate or exploit them
• Provide accurate information when configuring integrations
• Report bugs, security issues, or abuse through appropriate channels

3.3 Safe Spaces Responsibilities

When using Safe Spaces, you additionally agree to:

• Respect the anonymity of other users unless they choose to reveal their identity
• Use Safe Spaces for their intended purpose of fostering psychological safety
• Not attempt to identify anonymous users through technical means or social engineering
• Report any misuse of Safe Spaces to administrators

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Team Toolbox and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

5. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

5.1 Data Processing

You understand and agree that:

• We may process your messages for AI summarization (content is not permanently stored)
• We store configuration data, reminders, and preferences to provide the Service
• Third-party integrations may involve data sharing with those services
• Safe Spaces maintain enhanced privacy protections as described in our Privacy Policy

6. Service Availability and Modifications

6.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee:

• 100% uptime or availability
• Uninterrupted access to third-party services
• Compatibility with all Discord server configurations
• Immediate delivery of all notifications or reminders

6.2 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
• Add, remove, or modify features
• Change pricing or introduce fees for premium features
• Update these Terms as necessary

We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when possible.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Grounds for termination include but are not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or our Privacy Policy
• Abuse of Service features or other users
• Illegal or harmful activities
• Violation of third-party service terms
• Security threats or compromised accounts

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your use of the Service, you may:

• Remove the bot from your Discord server
• Disconnect third-party integrations
• Request deletion of your data through our support channels

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Team Toolbox, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
• Interruption of business or other economic loss

This limitation applies whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

9. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Course of performance
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Error-free operation
• Compatibility with third-party services

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Team Toolbox and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of and access to the Service
• Your violation of any term of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights
• Any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in a location mutually agreed upon by the parties.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Team Toolbox regarding the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the Service.
