What you get

Your team learns the tools they already have

A steady drip of useful tips, surfaced at whatever pace fits your server.

Tips

Schedule it once

Point it at a channel, set how often, and it runs. No reminders, no maintenance.

Keywords

Tips for every feature

Bundled tips for Keywords, Reminders, Safe Spaces, Summaries, Meetings, and every connection. Tips for a feature turn off automatically when the feature is disabled.

Settings

Filter by category

Keep a channel focused. Schedule it just for Google tips, just for meeting tips, or anything you want.

Tools

Add your own

Write your own tips and categories from the dashboard. Great for onboarding notes, team norms, or server-specific reminders.

Summaries

Multiple schedules

Different channels can each have their own schedule and category filter. #engineering gets dev tool tips; #general gets the broad mix.

Onboarding

No repeats

Each schedule remembers what it just showed and picks something fresh first. It only repeats once it's cycled through the pool.

How it works

How to set up server tips

Enable it, schedule a channel, let it run.

1

Enable Tips

Turn on Tips for your server from the dashboard or onboarding page.

2

Schedule a channel

Run /tips schedule, pick a channel, set an interval in hours, and optionally choose a category and start time.

3

Tips arrive on their own

Team Toolbox posts a tip embed in your chosen channel whenever the schedule fires -- no commands needed from team members.

Commands

Tips commands

All admin-only -- your team just reads the tips.

Manage schedules

/tips schedule /tips status /tips list

Create or update a channel's tip schedule, pause or delete an existing one, or list all active schedules on the server.

Preview & browse

/tips show /tips categories

Post a one-off tip right now (great for testing), or see the full list of available categories and their current state.
