Our Story

Why Team Toolbox exists

Team Toolbox started as a scrappy tool for one volunteer team and grew with the community that runs on it. It's built for creative teams and studios who want pro-grade tools without the corporate price tag.

Community-Driven

Features get prioritized by what teams actually need, not what looks good in a pitch deck. The community shapes the roadmap.

Privacy-First

Only what a feature needs is collected, stored securely, and never sold. Your trust matters more than any metric.

Always Improving

New features ship regularly and bugs get fixed fast, with community feedback steering what comes next.

FAQ

Common Questions

Team Toolbox is a Discord app that brings the tools your team already uses (Google Workspace, Notion, Canva) into Discord, alongside built-in features like chat summaries, reminders, keyword alerts, Safe Spaces, and voice-meeting notes. It's made for creative teams, game studios, and scrappy organizations that run on Discord.

Click Add to Discord anywhere on this site, pick your server, and approve the permissions. You'll be up and running in under a minute. Most features work right away; connections like Google or Notion take a quick sign-in to connect.

Standard app permissions: reading and sending messages, plus thread creation for features like Safe Spaces. I only ask for what a feature actually uses, nothing extra.

Run the connect command for the tool you want (for example /google connect, /notion connect, or /canva connect) and follow the secure sign-in link. Everything uses OAuth, so I never see your password and only touch the data you authorize. Full steps live in the documentation.

Only what features need to work: your Discord ID, the settings you configure, and connection tokens (stored securely). I don't read your messages unless you ask me to (like for a summary), and I don't store message content. See the Privacy Policy for the details.

First, make sure the app can read and send messages in that channel, and use slash commands (start with /). For connections, try reconnecting the account. Still stuck? Hop into the Discord and I'll help you sort it out.
