How to Use Team Toolbox

Unlock your team's full potential with our powerful and easy-to-use features. Here's everything you need to know to get started.

Chat Summaries

Get up to speed on any conversation with AI-powered summaries. You can summarize entire channels or specific parts of a discussion.

Slash Commands:

  • /summarize all: Summarize all messages in the current channel.
  • /summarize catchup: Get a summary of messages since you last spoke.
  • /summarize dates: Summarize messages within a specific date range.
  • /summarize ids: Summarize messages between two message IDs.
  • /summarize recent [number]: Summarize a specific number of recent messages.
  • /summarize recall: Recall the last summary you generated in the channel.

Context Menu Commands:

Right-click on a message to access these commands:

  • Summarize Before: Summarize all messages before the selected message.
  • Summarize After: Summarize all messages after the selected message.
  • Summarize Around: Summarize messages immediately before and after the selected one.

Google Calendar

Integrate your Google Calendar to bring your team's planning directly into Discord.

  • /calendar subscribe [calendar_id]: Subscribe a channel to a Google Calendar to receive event notifications.
  • /calendar unsubscribe [calendar_id]: Unsubscribe from a calendar.
  • /calendar list_calendars: List all calendars the channel is subscribed to.
  • /calendar list_events [calendar_id]: List upcoming events for a specific calendar.

Google Drive

Integrate your Google Drive to bring your team's resources directly into Discord.

  • /drive search [query]: Search for files in your Google Drive and share them in the channel.

Google Groups

Automatically manage Google Workspace group memberships based on Discord role assignments. When a user is assigned a Discord role that has been linked to a Google Group, their email is automatically added to that Google Group.

Note: This feature requires Organization Auth Mode to be enabled and proper Google Workspace configuration.

Slash Commands:

  • /groups link [role] [group]: Link a Discord role to a Google Group email address. Requires administrator permissions.
  • /groups unlink [role]: Remove the link between a Discord role and Google Group. Requires administrator permissions.
  • /groups list: Show all current role-to-group mappings. Requires administrator permissions.

Automatic Synchronization:

  • Role Assignment: When a user gets a linked role, they're automatically added to the corresponding Google Group.
  • Role Removal: When a role is removed, the user is automatically removed from the Google Group.
  • Organization Mode Only: Only works for users in Organization Auth Mode with linked Google accounts.

Notion Integration

Connect your Notion workspace to sync documents and databases with your Discord channels.

  • /notion sync [page_url]: Sync a Discord channel with a Notion page.
  • /notion unsync: Remove the Notion sync from the current channel.
  • /notion status: Check the sync status for the channel.

Reminders

Never forget an important message again. Set a reminder for any message with a simple right-click.

Context Menu Command:

  • Remind me in...: Right-click a message and choose a time to be reminded.

Slash Command:

  • /reminder view: View and manage all of your active reminders.

Safe Spaces

Create private, anonymous threads for sensitive feedback and discussions. Admins can set up designated channels for these spaces.

  • /safespace create: (Admin) Create a Safe Space forum channel.
  • /safespace open: Open a new private, anonymous thread.
  • /safespace close: Close the Safe Space you are in.
  • /safespace share: Voluntarily reveal your name within your Safe Space.

Keyword Notifications

Get a DM whenever specific keywords, phrases, or roles are mentioned, so you can stay on top of important conversations.

Slash Commands:

  • /keywords add [keyword]: Add a keyword to your watch list.
  • /keywords remove [keyword]: Remove a keyword from your list.
  • /keywords list: See all the keywords you are currently watching.

Context Menu Command:

  • Watch Keyword...: Right-click a message and select a keyword to watch.
