Tips & Tricks
🎯 Strategic Keywords
Choose keywords that are specific enough to be meaningful but broad enough to catch relevant discussions. "API" might be too broad, but "payment API" could be perfect.
📋 Project Code Names
Track project code names and internal terminology that might not be obvious but are frequently used in your team discussions.
🏢 Company Variations
Add variations of company names (full name, abbreviations, common misspellings) to catch all mentions.
⏰ Quiet Hours Management
Set up quiet hours to avoid notifications during sleep or focused work time, but consider time zones if you work with global teams.
📊 Regular Review
Periodically review your keyword list with /keywords analytics
to see which keywords are most valuable and remove unused ones.
🎨 Category Organization
Use clear naming conventions for your keywords to make them easier to manage as your list grows.
🔄 Context Menu Efficiency
Use the "Watch Keyword..." context menu on messages when you see interesting discussions to quickly add relevant keywords.
🎛️ Channel Strategy
Consider excluding very high-traffic channels from keyword notifications, or use channel-specific keywords for better signal-to-noise ratio.
